Saturday 10/03

Arrival 13.30 p.m. Fiumicino airport (expecting time at school around 14.30-15.00 p.m.), evening time with Italian family.

 

Sunday  11/03

Time with Italian family.

 

Monday 12/03

08:30 All students at school.

08.45 Reception at Aula Magna (first floor), Tour through the Convitto in three groups (Dutch students + exchange students 3A Classico).

10:00 Lesson on Caravaggio-Michelangelo (Tourist Guide: powerpoint, photocopies)

11:00 Break

11:30 Stylistic characters in Roman buildings: Convitto Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele II, Quartiere Prati, Ponte Risorgimento (Some Italian students explain the stylistic features – Presentations in Aula magna).

13:00 Lunch at Convitto (all students)

14:30  Musei Vaticani, Sistine Chapel and Basilica guided tour (Tourist Guide + Dutch students + Dutch teachers + 3A classico + Prof.ssa Riva).

17.00 End of activities and return to home

 

Tuesday 13/03

08:30 All students at school

09:00 Caravaggio Guided Walking Tour: Piazza del Popolo, Cappella Cerasi, Sant’Agostino, San Luigi dei Francesi (Tourist Guide + Dutch students + Dutch teachers + exchange students 3A Classico + Prof.ssa Riva).

13:00 Packed lunch (families) (Dutch students + their teachers).

14:30 End of activities and free time (Dutch students + exchange students 3A Classico, without teachers).

 

Wednesday 14/03

08:00 3A Liceo Classico exchange students at school (8:00/12:00).

09:00 Free tour in the city centre (Dutch students + Dutch teachers).

12:00 Departure for Fori Imperiali. (3A exchange students + Prof.ssa Riva)

13:00 Meeting point at Fori Imperiali. Packed lunch (families) Colosseo, Campidoglio, Foro Romanum (Dutch students + Dutch Teachers + 3A exchange students + Prof.ssa Riva).

17:00 Return to Convitto and end of activities.

 

Thursday 15/03

08:30 All students at school (Dutch students + exchange students 3A classico + Riva).

09:30 Workshop on the Baroque, Late Baroque and Neoclassic age (identify the style and list the questions on the videoclip).

11:00 Break

11:30 Workshop on the Baroque, Late Baroque and Neoclassic age (competition between 2 or three teams).

13:30 Lunch at Convitto (tutti)

14:30 End of activities and free time

 

Friday 16/03

08:30 All students at school (8:00 /17:00).

09:00 Guided tour through Rome – Piazza Navona, Piazza della Rotonda and Pantheon, Bernini Obelisk Piazza della Minerva, Piazza Colonna, Trevi Fountain, Sant’ Ignazio di Loyola (Dutch students + Dutch teachers, 3A Classico students + Prof.ssa Riva).

13:00 Packed lunch (families) at Parco di Villa Borghese.

14:00 End of activities and free time

 

 

 

19:30 Dinner at Pizzeria Montecarlo  (all students and teachers)

11.00 – Departure from school to the airport
